Japan Soccer Fans Welcome the World Cup in Screaming Fashion

June 15, 2010

When I think World Cup, Japan isn’t necessarily the first thing that pops into my head.  Okay, it isn’t the second, third, or fourteenth.  However, after watching this video you’ll know that the Japanese take their World Cup just as seriously as us Americans (or whatever country you’re from):

GGGGGGOOOOAAAALLLLLL!!!!!!!!

Angry With Your Team? Catch Your Stadium On Fire Like These Guys…

May 22, 2010

Folks, I can’t make this stuff up.  A Turkish football soccer team ended a playoff match earlier this week in a draw.  That’s not the bad part…that draw caused the team’s biggest rival to end up winning the league title (read more here).

I’m a Bengals fan and I can still remember the odd overtime game against the Eagles a couple years ago that ended in a tie.  Fair enough, the Bengals finished the season 4-11-1, but let me just pretend for a minute that the Bengals were still in the playoff hunt, and that game cost them the division championship, which in turn went to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Put yourself in my shoes.  Do you:

a) Shrug it off and hope that they make the playoffs next year (which in actuality, they did, WHO DEY!).

b) Go into a state of depression in which you choose not to take your Carson Palmer jersey off for a week.

or c) Grab the nearest source of fire and start setting Paul Brown Stadium ablaze.

If you chose C, you would fit in just fine with these football soccer hooligans!
