This week’s edition of ESPN College GameDay was in Atlanta for the SEC Championship game between #1 Florida and #2 Alabama (some are already calling it the National Championship game). I didn’t know what to expect from the crowd this week for a few reasons. First, the game is in Atlanta which isn’t the hometown of either of these teams, and isn’t really a college town. Second, the temperature was in the thirties, which will always hurt a crowd. However, despite my worries, the crowd came through in a big way. It wasn’t the biggest crowd of the year but there might have been more hilarious signs this week than any other week this year.
A few observations before we get to the signs: 1) The guest picker was Tennessee head coach Lane Kiffin, who picked the Crimson Tide to roll. 2) Jenn Brown was back thankfully…more on her below. 3) The Washington State flags made it once again, which makes this the 90th straight broadcast they have been present. This time there were actually four flags rather than the usual two. You can find more details on this tradition HERE.

On to the best signs of the day, the real reason you are here. First up, Bama fans trash talking the Gators:
"Gators can't swim in a Crimson Tide"
Alabama fans proving they can do basic math, something that they believe Florida fans can not do. The real question, is who is greater, Mark Ingram or Tim Tebow?
"22 > 15. Even Gators can do math"
"Ingram > Tebow. Math so easy a Gator can do it!"
After Carlos Dunlap got arrested for a DUI this week I knew there would be a plethora of signs from Bama fans. I was right.
"Dunlap drive me home tonight"
"D.U.I. - Don't worry, Urban is in charge!"
"It's 3 AM. Do you know where your defensive end is?"
"Hey Carlos, will you be our DD?"
Brandon “Watch your Eyes” Spikes is still getting a tough time from fans. Check out this trifecta (couldn’t catch what the N said on the ESPN sign said)!

If Michael Jordan has the Sports Illustrated cover record then Tim Tebow has the GameDay sign record. First we’ll show the Alabama versions. Not only is this sign the early favorite to win Best GameDay Sign of the Week, but it gives us a chance to slip in a glimpse of Jenn Brown (more of her below). In case you weren’t already aware, Tebow spent his spring break last year circumcising impoverished children.

Another instant classic that has a good chance at winning Best GameDay Sign of the Week:

It’s been a couple weeks since we’ve seen a Twilight reference on a sign. I was starting to get worried.

"Tebow! If you think that Kentucky hit hard, meet Rolando"
Now let’s move over to the Tebow signs from the Gator fans, including the usual Kanye West humor:
"Mark Ingram, Imma let you finish but...Tim Tebow is the best Heisman Candidate of all time!"
The GameDay guys said that the day after Tebow wears a bible verse on his eyeblack, it is the most searched term on Google. Sounds like the trend is growing:

As I’ve said in the past, some of my favorite signs are the ones that deal with the GameDay crew. This week the GameDay crew signs were lacking (where were the Corso signs??), but Kirk did get some love:

These next couple signs weren’t related to Florida or Alabama, but they were creative so I had to post them:

Speaking of Jenn Brown, there weren’t too many good pro-Florida signs this week, but Florida alumnus Jenn Brown more than makes up for it. Looking at the traffic stats from my site from the last 24 hours, people have been Googling Jenn like crazy. Always looking out for my readers, I give you more of the girl that made us all forget about Erin Andrews. By the way, did you vote in my Jenn Brown vs. Erin Andrews poll yet?

Lastly, on to Corso’s headgear video. The last few weeks Lee has pulled a switcheroo on us, but this week once he put on Big Al’s costume, he never turned back. Corso picks the Crimson Tide over the Gators!
